I am hopeful
a day will come
when the eyes will open
before the sun will rise
But until then
I am fighting my way to the pinnacle
one step at a time

River Island jeans, Zara studded collar top, Mango bracelet, Dune shoes
The world can be divided in two kinds of people - those who wake up in the morning and say, 'Good morning, Lord', and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, 'Good Lord, it's morning.'.
So here I am registered in the later category, but longing to be an early morning girl.
Speaking of which, this shoot was done early in the morning, one of the rare days when I get up and ready before the sun starts shining in the sky. Next to that, it's extremely pleasing to be wearing a pair of delightful burgundy jeans that unexpectedly landed in my closet (one of the disasters of online shopping that you'll coin as blessing in disguise). It's quite an amusing and funny store how I became the owner of these pants. My online shopping fervour was caught by my bro. So one fine day when I was just about to hit the Purchase button in one of my online shopping expeditions, he couldn't contain his excitement and asked me to buy him some stuff. When we spotted these skinny pants in the men's section I coaxed him to buy just lusting over the colour (and the price was unbelievable... sale sale sale).
Oh, I am generally not a sale person.... my shopping sensibility flies out the window when I see loads of stuff and loads of people together, things aren't organised, its hard to find the sizes and everything is crazy (in my defence I am a generally organised person). My mind just goes to the hibernate mode. But it's different when you're shopping during sale Online. Wow I just love that they don't cramp up and make a clutter in their online stores.
Ok back to the jeans. Ahhh.... so when these finally arrived, to our disappointment, he couldn't fit in the pants. Just when we were wondering how to return these back to England (another downside of buying online from international stores - sometimes the returns would cost you just as much as you paid for the item), out of curiosity I tried them on and bingo - they fit me. Yayyyy!!!!!
Now it was one of those moments when I didn't know whether to laugh or cry (fitting in a pair of men's pants that were two sizes larger). Nevertheless, it's always to look at the brighter side of things.....

I definitely belong to the latter group - "Lord! its morning already!!" type! My husband and even little one are morning people - it takes me 10 minutes to step out of denial that I do not need to get up! sigh!!
ReplyDeleteLove ur outfit and the shoes! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Thanks for the comment, I haven't heard from you in awhile! Love the outfit, the jeans look amazing! I am so much into coloured jeans right now! I bought a bright red pair of Levi's and got my sister a matching pair of the same mens jean. I think mens skinnies look so nice on a girl because they're not to tight and slim fitting!
